TCUD anticipates slower output, exports as margins squeezed
Turkish finished steel consumption plummeted -45.7% on-year in October to 1.9 million tonnes, according to the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD). This led to a decline in imports by -47.8% to 867,000t. Lower use was offset by a 60.5% surge in exports to 2.3mt.
