Tata UK's alloy surcharges uptick again
Tata Steel UK alloy surcharges for steels produced by its speciality steels division have risen majorly across the board again month-on-month for February 2017, Kallanish notes. Five of the eight surcharges have risen, two remain unchanged and only nickel has lowered. The scrap surcharge has also risen again, and was obviously set before the latest Turkey-led tumble in European values. The new surcharges are valid from 29 January to 25 February, Tata confirms.
