Tata UK limits operations, eases electricity grid pressure
Tata Steel plans to slow or pause UK operations for hours at a time on particularly cold days this winter to help energy companies satisfy periods of high consumer demand.
The Port Talbot steelworks may even be able to export electricity to the grid during these periods.
