Tata UK December alloy/scrap surcharges rise again
Tata Steel UK alloy surcharges for steels produced by its speciality steels division have majorly risen again month-on-month for December 2016, Kallanish notes. Six of the eight surcharges have risen, while two have fallen. The scrap surcharge has also risen above the £100 ($123.7) level for the first time since June and for only the third time in 16 months. The new surcharges are valid from 27 November to 31 December 2016, Tata confirms.
