Tata UK alloy/scrap surcharges rise for April
Tata Steel UK alloy surcharges for steels produced by its speciality steels division have generally risen again month-on-month for April 2017, Kallanish notes. More specifically, five of the eight surcharges have risen, and three have fallen. The scrap surcharge meanwhile continues to see-saw, mimicking the apparently interminable undulations in scrap pricing so far in 2017. The new surcharges are valid from 2-29 April, Tata confirms.
