Tata UK alloy surcharges soar for January
Tata Steel UK alloy surcharges for steels produced by its speciality steels division have risen across the board month-on-month for January 2017, Kallanish notes. Seven of the eight surcharges have risen, whilst only one, that for titanium, remains unchanged. The scrap surcharge has also surged with the biggest m-o-m jump since April. The new surcharges are valid from to 1 January to 28 January, Tata confirms.
