Tata Steel promotes Narendran to global ceo
Tata Steel has appointed India and Southeast Asia unit managing director TV Narendran as its global chief executive and managing director.
Narendran, also worldsteel economics committee chairman, had been in his previous position at Tata Steel since November 2013. During his tenure Tata Steel commissioned its Kalinganagar steelworks and increased its presence in higher added-value segments like automotive. Narendran has been at Tata Steel since 1988.
