Tata Steel India sees production and sales surge
It is all points north for Tata Steel’s Indian operations for its 2017 financial year just ended on 31 March. The steelmaker’s provisional figures released on 1 April show that all major production and sales indicators in India have increased year-on-year over the period. The flagship Jamshedpur plant also saw a raft of new production records broken and the marketing and sales function also hit some new highs.
