Strikes affecting raw materials supply at Ijmuiden
On Wednesday 10 June workers in the raw materials supply side at the Ijmuiden integrated complex of Tata Steel staged a strike, to demonstrate against the possibility of job cuts.
The unions noted that the strike had an impact on the raw materials supply of the blast furnaces at the site and added that it was the first action of its kind seen in the last 28 years. They also noted that further demonstrations will be put on, Kallanish reports.
