Tata Steel Europe looking to restructure: reports
Tata Steel Europe confirmed in an internal letter to workers the initiation of an evaluation process aimed at saving costs following the cancellation of the merger with thyssenkrupp, Dutch press reported this week.
According to reports, the letter noted that an external firm has been appointed to evaluate the next moves. These could include the discontinuation of certain activities within the group as well as a reduction of jobs at European units.
