Tata Steel begins Port Talbot furnace upgrade
Tata Steel tells Kallanish that a previously-signalled project to upgrade its Blast Furnace 5 at the steelmaker’s Port Talbot plant has now begun. This will add another 5-7 years to the furnace's life, the company says.
