Tata speciality steels' alloy surcharges uptick for May
Tata Steel UK alloy surcharges for steels produced by its speciality steels division have risen in the majority month-on-month for May 2017, Kallanish notes. More specifically, four of the eight surcharges have risen, three have fallen and one is unchanged. The scrap surcharge meanwhile continues to undulate, and falls back after April’s rise. The new surcharges are valid from 30 April to 27 May, Tata confirms.
