Tata Nederland launches Zeremis with high scrap share
Tata Steel Nederland has launched Zeremis Recycled, a steel with an allocated 30% recycled content, Kallanish learns from the company.
The firm says the new product addresses increasing demand for advanced steels with substantial recycled content, particularly in consumer-facing industries including automotive, packaging and construction.
Initially, Zeremis Recycled offers 30% recycled content, contributing to a reduction of 0.2 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of steel. …
