Tata Europe updates workforce on proposed tk tie-up
Tata Steel has attempted to calm concerns amongst its workforce over developments in the proposed joint venture with tk Steel in Europe.
In a letter to employees copied to Kallanish, Tata Steel Europe ceo Hans Fischer says that due diligence by both Tata and tk Steel on the merger is continuing. Details of this had been shared with Tata’s works councils and trade unions on 18 December, Fischer confirms.
