Tata begins ferrochrome production at Gopalpur

Tata Steel has begun production at its first greenfield ferrochrome plant in India, Kallanish learns from a company release. The recently-commissioned plant at Gopalpur Industrial Park in the Ganjam district of Odisha, produced its first ferrochrome on 25 February, the steelmaker confirms.
