Tang Eng, Walsin adjust November stainless offers higher
As electric vehicles and stainless steel compete for nickel resources and the TWD has depreciated against the USD, Taiwan’s major stainless steel manufacturers Tang Eng and Walsin Lihwa have adjusted their November prices higher following Yieh United, Kallanish observes.
For the Taiwan market, both Tang Eng and Walsin have lifted the prices of 304 and 316L products by TWD 1,500/tonne ($47/t) and TWD 5,000/t, respectively.
