Taiwan steelmakers lower June stainless offers
Taiwan’s main stainless steel manufactures, Walsin Lihwa, Yieh United Steel (Yusco) and Tang Eng Iron Works, have lowered offers for June orders, Kallanish notes.
Walsin reduced prices of all 300 series stainless steel by TWD 7,000/tonne ($239/t), and this also applies to Yusco’s and Tang Eng’s 304 products. Quotes for 430 products from Yusco have been cut by TWD 1,500/t, while all other products’ offers remain unchanged.
