Taiwanese scrap prices surge
Taiwanese scrap prices have increased this week as suppliers raised quotes, spurred by the hike in the Turkish market.
The latest offers for HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap from the US West Coast are at $420-425/tonne cfr Taiwan, up by about $40/t compared with offers last week.
