Taiwanese scrap prices fall further
With supply increasing and demand weakening, the recent strength in Taiwanese scrap market prices has faded and prices have begun to fall sharply.
Offers of HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap from the US West Coast declined another $10/tonne to around $240/t cfr Taiwan earlier this week, and they are still on a downward trend.
