Taiwanese scrap prices decline

Under the influence of low-priced offers, Taiwanese scrap market prices have fallen week-on-week. Although container freight costs are still high, Taiwanese buyers pushed down the purchase price of imported scrap this week. Containerised scrap offers for HMS 1&2 80:20 from the US West Coast have decreased to $410-420/tonne cfr Taiwan.
