Taiwanese scrap prices continue to decline
Scrap prices in Taiwan continue to fall, as buyers further reduce demand.
Most Taiwanese steel mills have cut production due to power supply restrictions in summer, and they have taken the opportunity to overhaul their production lines. Taiwanese domestic demand for scrap is therefore subdued, and these steel mills have prepared raw materials in advance.
