Taiwanese scrap price sees record surge
The Taiwanese scrap market broke another record this week reaching the highest level this year. The surge in foreign scrap prices also stimulated a rise in the domestic scrap market.
The Taiwanese scrap market is still facing tight supply. Supply from the US and Japan is very limited, and offer prices soared by around $45-50/t over the week.
