Taiwanese container scrap market softens further
East Asian mills continue to press for lower scrap import prices, Kallanish notes.
In Taiwan, US container scrap suppliers reduced their offers this week to $330-335/tonne cfr, $10/t lower on week. However, importing mills correspondingly lowered their bid prices by $10/t to $320-325/t cfr.
