Taiwan scrap prices stabilise on limited supply
Taiwan's scrap market has remained strong this week, especially as Japanese scrap offers continued to firm, Kallanish notes.
HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap from the US West Coast was offered at $268-270/tonne cfr Taiwan, unchanged from last week. But the offers are of little significance to the market, because US suppliers are not making much material available to Taiwanese buyers.
