Taiwan CSC hikes some quotes for June sales
Taiwan’s largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) on Tuesday decided to hike quotations for some flat steel products for June sales. This was the same pricing strategy adopted by Baosteel few days earlier, Kallanish notes.
The company added TWD 300/tonne ($9.3/t) onto its hot rolled coil offers. CSC also lifted thick plate and CRC quotations by TWD 300/t. Baosteel had kept these prices unchanged.
