Assofermet urges EU safeguard removal as shortages bite
Assofermet is urging the EU to re-examine safeguard measures that it says are creating dramatic market distortion, the Italian steel trade association tells Kallanish. In a letter to the European Commission it asks that the safeguard measures expiring on 30 June are neither extended nor implemented again in the future.
