Steelmakers cooperate with DiDi to resettle dismissed workers
Chinese steelmakers are cooperating with DiDi, a transportation platform company which has just absorbed the Chinese subsidiary of Uber, to re-employ workers losing their jobs to China's steel capacity elimination campaigns. Shanxi Coking Coal Group (SXCC) and Hebei Iron and Steel Group have recently signed corporation agreements on dismissed workers resettlement work with DiDi, according to Securities Daily, Kallanish notes.
