Spain's production levels deteriorate as the year progresses
Steel production in Spain stood at 10.8 million tonnes between January and September 2014, a figure which remained virtually unchanged - at just 0.4% more - from the same period in 2013, Kallanish learns from data provided by Spanish steelmakers' association, Unesid.
In contrast, Spain's third quarter’s production has fallen by 3%, down to 3.2mt, compared to the same quarter last year.
