Steel futures firm despite higher mill inventories

Chinese steel futures gained slightly on Tuesday as iron ore boosted the ferrous complex slightly. Hegang and other mills have hiked rebar prices for end-March, but CISA data shows mill inventories have been building, Kallanish notes.
