Steel Dynamics sets record earnings, sales in Q1
US minimill producer Steel Dynamics Inc (SDI) hit both record sales and net income figures in the first quarter, Kallanish reports.
SDI earned $431 million during the quarter on net sales of $3.5 billion - up from net income of $187m on sales of $2.6 billion in Q1 2020.
