Spanish steelmakers secure financing to offset emissions cost
The Spanish government approved 204 funding requests related to the indirect greenhouse gas emissions compensations corresponding to 2019, Kallanish notes. Of the total €61 million ($72m) funding, €24 million is destined for the local steel industry.
