Spain’s March scrap consumption falls

The Spanish steel sector used 747,000 tonnes of ferrous scrap for steelmaking in March, down 5.3% month-on-month. This was also 29.1% less over the same month in 2021, according to Spanish steelmakers' association Unesid. The local steel industry produced around 1.01 million tonnes of crude steel in March.
