Spain’s crude steel production decreases in February

The Spanish steel sector saw steel production decrease both on-month and on-year in February, Kallanish notes. Scrap melting, however, improved over January but was weak compared to the same month a year ago. According to the Spanish steelmakers' association Unesid, the local steel industry produced around 969,000 tonnes of crude steel in February.
