Southeast Europe’s steel output rebounds sequentially, down on-year
Southeast Europe (SEE) crude steel production increased in March compared to the previous month, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 274,696 tonnes, up by 0.9% on-month, but less compared to 296,394t in March 2023.
In the first quarter, regional production was almost flat on-year at 750,986t.
