Southeast Europe steel output declines in September
Southeast Europe (SEE) crude steel production increased year-on-year in Septemberbut fell on-month, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 407,000 tonnes, up by 27.5% year-on-year.
However, output was lower on August, when SEE production was 452,400t, up by 47.6% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
January-September regional production increased by 43.7% on-year to 3.61 million tonnes.
