South African iron miners agree Kumba wage deal

The South African National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) reports that it has signed a three-year wage agreement with Pretoria, South Africa-headquartered miner Kumba Iron Ore, part of Anglo-American plc, The multi-year agreement is effective from 1 July 2017 until 30 June 2020 and will see members of the NUM receiving wage increases in percentages ranging between 7-10%.
