Some rise, some fall for Ovako's October surcharges
Sweden engineering steel specialist Ovako has reduced three, raised two and left one unchanged out of six of its alloying element surcharges for hot rolled bar for October. That for vanadium surges again while the nickel surcharge falls again after having done so for the first time in 12 months for September. The company has also lowered its scrap surcharge for October from that applied this month, Kallanish notes.
