SMS supplies new rod mill components to Jianlong
German technology supplier SMS tells Kallanish that it has won an order to supply the core components for a new high-speed wire rod mill in China.
Jianlong Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd., based in Qiqihar has contracted SMS to supply a ten-stand wire rod finishing block. The scope of supply also incudes two cantilever compact roughing stands, the group of shears upstream of the block, and the loop laying head including pinch roll unit.
