SMS bags new Chinese tube plant contract
Germany-headquartered SMS Group tells Kallanish that it has won an order to supply a new seamless tube plant to Jiangsu Changbao Precision Tube Co. in China.
The so-called Premium Quality Finishing (PQF) plant will be used to produce tubes within a diameter range of up to 6 5/8 inches and wall thicknesses of between 4-20mm.
