Sluggish auto, real estate hurts India steel outlook
India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) has revised its outlook for the Indian steel sector to stable-to-negative from stable for the remainder of the fiscal year through March 2020 (FY20). This is due to sluggish steel demand growth expectations owing to a mix of structural and cyclical concerns primarily in the automotive and real estate sectors.
