Industrial plan delays JSW-Aferpi deal till next week
JSW Steel’s acquisition of Italian steel supplier Aferpi, the former Lucchini in Piombino, has been postponed from this week to next, according to a union source who spoke to Kallanish.
The closure of the deal with Aferpi’s current owner, Cevital, and the relaunch of production had initially been expected in June, but there have been delays over discussions related to the new industrial plan presented by JSW.
