Siderperu grows its ferrous scrap purchases

Peruvian long products steelmaker Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú (Siderperu), a subsidiary of Brazil's Gerdau, says it has spent more than PEN 350 million ($93.3m) in ferrous scrap purchasing during 2023.
