SHP` Marcona mine boosts Peruvian iron ore production
Peruvian iron ore production rose year-on-year both monthly and cumulatively in September, according to the latest data issued by the country's mines and energy ministry (MEM), monitored by Kallanish.
“The growth of iron ore production in September and in the first nine months of the year was supported by SHP growing production after completing its expansion plan at the CP1 unit in the Marcona mine,” MEM confirms.
