Shipment delay, lower prices hit Rana Gruber performance
Rana Gruber’s production rose in the first quarter but sales fell as one shipment was delayed due to Easter and temporary port capacity issues, causing an inventory buildup. Iron ore prices were lower amid weaker steel production in China, while seasonal freight costs were unusually high, the Norwegian miner says.
