Shanghai moves to monitor Kobe Steel products
The Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau is setting up a special team to monitor and test products imported to China through Shanghai from Japan’s Kobe Steel. The move follows the news late last year that Kobe Steel had been selling metal products with falsified test data and quality guarantees for over a decade, Kallanish notes.
