Shandong reports 35mt of new iron ore reserves
The Shandong Provincial Department of Natural Resources says over 35 million tonnes of new iron ore reserves have been discovered in Qihe-Yucheng, northwest Shandong, Kallanish notes.
The average Fe grade of the iron ore mine exceeds 55%, and the mine’s total thickness reaches 79.36 metres. The thickest layer of mineral is only 72.3m, which will greatly reduce the difficulty of mining.
The Qihe-Yucheng Area is a newly discovered area rich in iron ore resources, and has been listed as a national survey area. In 2019, 66.46% Fe iron ore deposits were found here.
