Shangang contracts Primetals to relocate/upgrade Rizhao plate mill
London-headquartered plant and equipment supplier Primetals tells Kallanish that it has received an order from Chinese steel producer Shandong Iron and Steel Group Rizhao Co., Ltd. (Shangang) to relocate and upgrade a plate mill.
Shangong placed the order in April, Primetals confirms. The plant supplier will relocate the 4.3-metre plate mill line from Shangong’s plant in Jinan to Rizhao. The mill will be part of the ‘Shansteel Rizhao Quality Products…
