Shagang's blast furnace project wins approval
Major eastern Chinese steelmaker Shagang has gained the local government's approval to replace several blast furnaces, with a total investment value of CNY 3 billion ($424 million), Kallanish notes. The construction is designed to start before the end of 2020.
