Shagang's Yongxing starts up new slag processing line
Anyang Yongxing Special Steel Company, part of China’s Shagang Group, commissioned a new slag processing line constructed by MCC on 3 November, Kallanish notes.
The line uses pressurised hot thermal technology and can process 300,000 tonnes/year of converter slag. The processed slag will be able to satisfy several standards, such as F-CaO content within 3% and granularity within 20mm.
