Sentiment changes on higher US line pipe pricing
Sentiment on rising prices in the US line pipe market softened in December but is increasing for new orders, according to the latest Pipe Logix report.
December was the 15th consecutive month of price increases for line pipe, with Pipe Logix’s domestic line pipe index coming in at $3,376/short ton. This was a 1.3% rise from November. Import prices were 3.9% higher month-on-month, reported at $2,654/st for December.
